Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Bodoland Infrastructure & Resource Development Private Limited (“BIRD”, “we”) collects through birdev.in, why, and what you can do about it. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need:

  • Enquiries. When you use the contact form: your name, phone number, and optionally your email, site location, budget range, preferred start date and the message you write.
  • Google sign-in. When you log in with Google: your name, email address and profile photo, as shared by Google. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Technical data. Basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested and time), kept to keep the site secure and working.

We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell personal information.

2. How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss, estimate and carry out your project.
  • To let our team and clients sign in, and to show each person only what their role allows.
  • To keep records required by law, such as contracts, invoices and tax records.
  • To protect the site against misuse and fix problems.

3. Who we share it with

Only with the services that run this site, under their own security commitments:

  • Our hosting server and database, which we operate ourselves in India.
  • Cloudflare, which delivers the site and protects it from attacks.
  • Google, for sign-in only.
  • WhatsApp, if you choose to send your enquiry through it.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to three years, or longer if they become a contract. Account details are kept while your account is active. Financial and contract records are kept for as long as Indian law requires.

5. How we protect it

Connections to birdev.in are encrypted. Access to records is limited by role, so enquiries are visible only to signed-in BIRD staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care and will tell you if a breach affects your data.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent for its use, by writing to [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: one that keeps you signed in, and small preferences stored in your browser (such as which notifications you have read). We do not use cookies for advertising.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be shown on the site.
